Most Influential People of African Decent Recognition Week Event Assistant

  • Supported stakeholder engagement and on-site operations for 500+ international attendees, ensuring seamless guest experience (the event was in partnership with the UN).  

NSBE President 

  • Led one of the largest student organisation in NYU Tandon managing a variety of events such as encompassing fundraisers, social gatherings, academic activities, our first ever student organisation hackathon, professional engagements, and community service initiatives. ​

  • Developed the 2023-2024 NYU NSBE Website

  • Developed our corporate partnership packet  and participated in initiatives such as Wasserman ECP connecting students to various companies and opportunities.  

  • Partnered with top companies such as PwC, Apple, Google, AWS, JetBlue, Pfizer, HSBC, and more

  • erved as the sole representative for NYU NSBE.

  • Re-established the Pre-Collegiate initiative program undertaking 3 high schools which we aim to serve and enhance the learning experience of high school students interested in STEM 

  • Aided with fundraising initiatives for the student conferences

  • Collaborated on conference planning logistics and financially supported over 60 students for NSBE Conferences. Several students benefited from professional development workshop, career fairs and networking opportunities with industry professionals. 

AIChE President 

  • Strategically planned and executed professional and social events, fostering connections among 211 students, professors, and industry professionals.

  • Projected, budgeted and monitored over $10,000 in funding for events and conferences.

AIChE Undergraduate Representative

  • Advertised events on social media as well as to students to increase student engagement. 

  • Helped with event planning and acted as the point of contact between underclassmen and AIChE 

Omega Chi Epsilon Vice President

  • ​Encourage academic excellence among Chemical Engineering students through events and host induction of new members.

NSBE Finance Chair / Treasurer

  • Accountable for implementing the necessary internal controls for the management of the student organisation’s finances

  • Oversaw planning and expenditure for events and conferences for 193 member

  • Organised the first End of Year Corporate Mixer.

  • Assisted with increasing revenue over $15,000 to financially support 39 students interested in attending the National Convention at Kansas City.

  • Strategised, updated and distributed corporate sponsorship packet and NSBE Resume Book forming partnerships with Jane Street, Bank of America, HSBC and Deloitte

  • Developed activities and events to maintain relationships between corporate partners and the NYU NSBE Chapter.

AIChE Vice President 

  • Co-ordinated and facilitated events ​to connect students to professors, peers and industry. 

  • Assisted with conference planning and logistics.  

International Student Transition Program Leader

  • ​Mentored a cohort of 6 international students by helping them become acclimated to college through academic preparedness, college engagement and community building.

  • Facilitated open and honest conversations on topics such as micro-aggressions, equity, and equality.
