National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) is a professional organization dedicated to advancing Black professionals in accounting, finance, and business through education, networking, and career development.

The Office of Student Life and Services at NYU supports student engagement and wellbeing by overseeing campus life programs, student organizations, leadership development, and essential student support services.

I had the honour of serving as a graduate assistant for the Associate Dean's Office where I managed programming supporting NYU Tandon's student body of 7,000+ students through campus wide initiatives. 

I also worked on budget / funding allocations for these initiatives, stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration and contract negotiations with vendors.

BlackGen Capital is a minority-owned, student-run investment fund that provides hands-on investing experience while promoting financial education and professional development.

Using NLPs, Python and Excel to analyze consumer sentiment and competitor analyses for product strategy and market positioning.

Future Labs x GLASS Internship Program with Washington Square Angels which is led by Zac Geinzer and Mike Montero, a collective of NYU alumni  who invest in and support promising startups at NYU.

Led professional development programming through AIChE and NSBE by organizing networking events (professor mixers and an end-of-year corporate mixer with firms across finance, consulting, and biotech), delivering career-skills workshops (resumes, cover letters, interviewing, elevator pitches), and coordinating conference/career-fair engagement. Created the NSBE resume book to expand opportunities for minority students and hosted a BlackTech panel featuring Amazon, Adobe, Apple, and Google.

 Advanced the technical and soft skill development of 40 first year engineering students per year emphasizing the significance of minimal design, cost efficiency and sustainability while using Arduino IDE, Fusion, LabView and other engineering software.
 

This hackathon focused on the role of AI in developing a prototype. 

In the summer 2025 and part of the fall 2025, I functioned as an Ambassador for partnerships. 

• Covered mergers & acquisitions, exploring the strategic rationale behind deals and evaluating their broader business and financial outcomes in program partnered with UBS.
• Applied financial modeling skills across different valuation approaches, including cash flow projections, discounted cash flow (DCF), enterprise value, trading multiples, peer benchmarking and football field valuations.

HuCapital is a professional networking and AI-powered career platform that connects rising professionals and founders, offering curated feeds, community engagement, events, tools, and resources to accelerate career growth and business development.

I attended vibe coding workshops and seminars with professionals in different fields.

Participated in the UN Reimagining the Future Summit which preceded the Climate Summit. As global efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals fall behind, the urgent need to bridge the technological gap becomes increasingly critical. Many young individuals in the Global South are missing out on technology and innovation, which are essential for their development. Countries that invest in human capital and nurture youth innovation generally achieve more significant economic success, while those that do not remain stagnant. In the race for AI and technological leadership, developing nations, especially in Africa, struggle to access advancements. To address these challenges, the Permanent Mission of Sierra Leone, in partnership with UN agencies and Forbes, organised this summit aimed at expanding discussions beyond traditional frameworks. This initiative examined the barriers faced by young innovators and promote an inclusive digital revolution that empowers all.

Intel Sustainability Project, analyzed power-market supply/demand, grid energy mix, and cost drivers to identify and recommend renewable-powered datacenter locations, balancing economics with climate/transition considerations.

Goldman Sachs’ Insight Series is a career-exploration program designed to introduce students and early-career professionals to the firm’s business areas, culture, and opportunities through interactive workshops, speaker sessions, and networking with Goldman professionals.
