Ubuntu is an African Philosophy that is often directly translates to "I am because we are" and signifies humanity towards others. Ubuntu embodies all virtues that maintain harmony, solidarity and compassion towards others. It encourages a constant awareness that an individual’s actions today are a reflection on the past, and will have far-reaching consequences for the future. â€‹â€‹

SLS x PolyProject Spring Wellness Week

Currently planning the inclusion of a community based project for Wellness Week at NYU Tandon for students and faculty to give back to their local community.

Indonesia J-Term

Participated in an intensive interdisciplinary program focused on business, social sciences, and sustainable business practices, with deep cultural immersion.

Fieldwork (Tera’s Hijau Project): Conducted hands-on work producing ecoenzyme-based hand disinfectant; presented lifecycle, go-to-market strategy, and process improvement recommendations.

Community Impact (Sakola Motekar): Volunteered supporting experiential learning; delivered a sustainability roadmap across people, profit, and planet.

Industry Exposure: Shadowed production operations at J&C Cookies to understand end-to-end food manufacturing processes.

Bowery Mission

Served ready-made meals to food-insecure communities.

NSBE

Organised and participated in the following while president of NSBE: Pre-Collegiate Initiatives, Breast Cancer March, Park Clean Ups.

US Partnerhsips 

Supported the organization’s mission to advance education for sustainable development by connecting universities and international partners with academic and professional opportunities, research insights, and global initiatives through collaboration and knowledge exchange. Additionally, contributed to grant research and applications and helped develop external partnership strategies for initiatives addressing climate change mitigation and equity in higher education.

Huellas de Pan 

Supported meal services for children.

International Health Center

Assisted with shelter programming, food service in men’s shelters, and preparations for mental health training; gained exposure to wraparound services (housing, counseling, medical/psychiatric support, and reintegration programs).

NYU UNICEF

Volunteered in community service events supporting old age homes and child patients
